I am a Cumberland-born artist with a BA in Fine Art from Sheffield and an MA in Sculpture from Chelsea. My work reflects a personal and evolving exploration of events, people, and landscapes that shape my experience. Through photography, moving image, and sculpture, I examine the interplay between concrete reality and a sense of dislocation, often pushing into abstraction.

In a world overwhelmed by visual stimuli, my practice seeks to pause and question how we perceive and interpret our surroundings. By engaging with this "blizzard" of daily imagery, I aim to unravel new narratives that resonate with shared human experience—sometimes affirming expectations, other times subtly challenging them. My works invite viewers to reexamine their reality, finding moments of clarity or disorientation, and ultimately reflect on the fragile line between truth and fabrication in the visual landscape of contemporary life.
