I am a Cumberland born artist who originally studied Fine Art at Sheffield and Chelsea. This website introduces my recent visual work and gradually documents key previous pieces that continue to influence me. These play with a repeated dichotomy and reflection on my surroundings, they hover between  concrete reality on one hand and underlying dislocation on the other. Often the blizzard of daily imagery can numb our perceptive facilities, often we measure our reality based on what might be absolute fabrication, I hope these artworks evolve new narratives which reflect our shared experiences, cementing expectation or gently fracturing it.
